Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Women’s Center of Beaver County. The Women’s Center offers a volunteer orientation meeting in September, January and May.

If you commit to volunteering at the Center, please note that you will be required to apply for a Child Abuse Clearance (Act 33) and a Pennsylvania State Police Clearance (Act 34) which are both fee waived. An additional FBI Clearance may be needed depending upon your residency status. These clearances are not needed prior to the Orientation.

Please note at this time we are not looking for direct service volunteers. Direct service is defined as working directly with clients of the Center. However, we are always looking for volunteers who have a special talent that they are willing to share in our Wellness Workshops. In the past, we have had volunteers teach yoga classes, arts and craft classes, coupon workshops, self-defense classes and other valuable sessions geared to help clients improve their lives.

Volunteer opportunities that are available are listed on the volunteer application which can be found here.
You can return the application by email to annex@womenscenter.com or mail to P.O. Box 428, Beaver, PA 15009.

Should you have questions about the Volunteer Program, please contact Ann Colella-Murray, Education Training Coordinator at (724) 775-2032 for more information.
